I did a lot of thinking in regards to whether to put in this topic but, I am sure that authentic readers will have no problem with it. If when reading this you (particulary readers) do have problem with what I have written, you may need to have a look at your own personal motivations regarding readings.
Sadly we live in a society, that if there is money to be made you will unfortunately find frauds. The main problem is that "frauds" are very good at taking advantage of people's weaknesses and money. I have heard so many stories from friends and clients who have had experiences with unscrupulous readers, and even I have had a reading from a reader that was less than honest. These few deceitful people have made it extremely difficult for genuine readers to be seen as trustworthy. I hope that this article will help you to be able to distinguish between the two. The signs to look for are in no particular order but even if you remember just a few it may save you a lot of time, heartache and of course money!
Here are a few "tricks of the trade"
* One of the first questions a fraud will ask you is along the lines of something like "How will you be paying today?"......that is certainly a sign of a readers true interests! Yes, a good psychic is worth the money, and needs to discuss their fee. But the first question the reader asks should be about you and what they can do for you.
* The reader who asks a lot of questions before actually beginning the reading. The fraud is actually fishing for information so that she/he is able to make it part of the "reading". Frauds that are particulary good at "fishing" usually make the questions seem like casual conversation.
* Beware of psychic hotlines .....you really do not know who is on the end of the telephone. The hotlines that charge by the minute you should be very wary of, especially if they tend to be stretching out the conversation......the longer the conversation the more you are charged.
* If you are having a reading through the internet ask your friends for recommendations or go to the person's website and check their feedback. There are many frauds on the internet, the same applies as on the telephone.....do you really know who you are online with.
* Beware if a reader promises you that they will be able to connect with a particular spirit or loved one. Experience has taught me that you can never guarantee anything with a reading.
* Be very wary if you are asked to pay extra money to get rid an entity, to change your luck or to change your circumstances.
* A fraud may ask you to pay extra money to contact a specific loved one or spirit, saying something along the lines "I need to used extra energy to make contact"
* Be careful if a reader tells you to take definate steps or actions in relation to your life. No psychic/intuitive has the right or all the information and knowledge to tell you what you should do with you life. It is YOUR life and it us entirely up to you to make the choices to direct it in the way you want it to go. Readers are there only to guide you and to give you options.......NOT to tell you what you should or shouldn't do.
* Be wary of a reader who makes exact predictions about your future. Remember your future has to do with your the choices and decisions you make and it is forever changing. Of course there are indications that point to probable outcomes, but nothing in your future is carved in stone due to the wonderful two words called "Free Will"
The main thing to remember is to trust your own intuition, if something doesn't feel right then the chances are it isn't.
